Perryn has her own workshops in the beautiful hills of West Wales, with facilities for the courses, both indoors and outdoors, a games room and lecture area. We have an arrangement for self catering, very comfortable accommodation, which is no more than 15 minutes drive from the Sculpture Centre. There are many things to see and do locally, with the sea 20 minutes away, and several castles and historic sites in easy driving distance.

Stone Carving - Pembroke Castle - June 2006

Perryn has just completed a very successful Sculpture Course, sponsored by the County Arts, and  held in the grounds of Pembroke Castle. She ran a five day course for 11 students of varying ages. The students were taught the fundamental skills of carving in stone, working in both Bath Stone, and Portland stone. Most of the students had never attempted anything like this before, and had both technical and design techniques shown to them by Perryn. After five days of both hard work, and glorious weather, working within the historic setting, all the students achieved fantastic results, with at least one sculpture which they had conceived and carved. The course certainly instilled in the students the enthusiasm to continue with scu;pture, and Perryn will be running further courses.
